Annual Residents’ Survey returns
Residents are being encouraged to share their views on a variety of different topics as part of Wychavon’s Residents’ Survey.
The annual questionnaire, which will run from 6 September to 4 October, will give people across the district an opportunity to say what they think of their local area and services.
This year, the survey includes questions on how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted residents, as well as the response and support provided by the council. It will also ask questions about such issues as litter and homelessness.
Feedback will be used to improve services and the ongoing recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. A summary of the results will be published anonymously on the council website.
Last year, the survey received 1,140 responses, with traffic congestion, crime, public transport, litter and recycling voted as the top priorities for Wychavon residents.
The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete but progress can be saved so it can be completed in stages.
Cllr Bradley Thomas, Leader of Wychavon District Council, said: “The views of our residents really matter to us and we are encouraging as many people as possible to tell us what they think. This year has been difficult for everyone and we have been amazed at the community spirit across the district.
“We would like to thank all of our residents for their amazing volunteering efforts as well as our staff and councillors at Wychavon who have gone above and beyond to maintain services and to provide support. Receiving feedback on this will allow us to make improvements where needed”.
